“I shut my eyes in order to see.”

It is hard to shoot a popular location and be able to create a body of work with a distinctive personal approach, not previously produced. A good challenge, I would say. I then decided to be just an observer...not thinking or judging...only searching for discoveries...

In Petra I was seduced by the colours and the small corners that I found hidden among the rocks. I was seduced but the softness of the red sand...a little oasis between the rocks. I could not resist to shoot some locals...they seemed to be lost in time in this amazing Nabatean scenario....

In the Wadi Rum Desert everything is breathtaking but the shapes seduced me most...

The Dead Sea lines became abstract to me and I create shades of this magnificent lake under the sea level...

In Israel and Palestine things are much more real and dramatic, I guess my eyes were trying to capture the real meaning of the 'clouds' surrounding this area and the tension in a special place called Bethlehem...
