A Book, A Journey, A Cause

Blending memoir and fiction to support young nuns in Kathmandu.

More than a year has passed since my last post. In that time I traveled, created, questioned, and paused. Now I feel ready to share a story that has been unfolding quietly inside me.
2025 was an intense year, full of travel and insights. I am still digesting all that I learned. Among other journeys, I went to Asia twice and spent 47 days traveling through the Balkans.
On one of those trips to Asia, I visited Nepal — where something shifted within me. Among the mountains and temples, I was drawn to a quiet place: a nunnery in Kathmandu. There, I met little nuns, some as young as three, who filled the silence with strength and grace. Though I cannot share their names or faces, I carry their presence within me.
From this experience, a new project was born: a book that blends memoir and fiction. Through the story of a free-spirited woman searching for self-love and meaning, I explore a journey touched by Nepal — by mornings of stillness, by questions that stayed with me, and by the courage I witnessed in those young nuns.
This book is not only art — it is also action. Its main purpose is to raise funds to support the little nuns in their daily needs: food, education, and safe living conditions. In this way, creativity becomes a bridge between worlds.
In the months ahead, I will share more about this journey — the writing process, the inspiration, and the ways this project hopes to create impact. I invite you to walk with me, to read, to reflect, and to be part of this unfolding path...
