For a long time, this project lived quietly.
It began without a clear form.. as fragments, impressions, images that did not yet fully belong to anything. A way of seeing that slowly started to gather itself.
There was no urgency to define it.
Only a need to remain close to what was being felt.
Over time, something shifted.
What once existed in pieces began to find a rhythm.
Connections appeared where before there were only intuitions.
The work started to take shape.. not as a fixed narrative, but as a space where image and word could coexist, each holding part of what could not be fully said.
When the Winds Change emerged from this process.
Rooted in a journey through Nepal, and shaped by encounters that stayed far beyond their moment, the book became less about documenting a place and more about tracing an inner landscape.. one that continues to unfold.
In May, it will take its first step into the world, as part of the Lisbon Book Fair.
I will share more as it continues to reveal itself.
